Public Safety Career Day
On Public Safety Career Day, more than 150 experts representing 40 city, county, state and federal agencies will be on hand to talk with students about the wide range of career options in public safety, including law enforcement, firefighting, emergency management, homeland security and forensic investigations. See drug-sniffing dogs, bomb-defusing robots, the Department of Natural Resources’ airboat, fire trucks, armored vehicles and an array of weapons and bullet-resistant clothing, and participate in demonstrations with the crime lab, the bomb squad and the SCUBA-diving team.

Then participate in the annual Nonprofit Expo at IUPUI! The IUPUI Nonprofit Expo brings together nonprofit, government and community partners that offer internship, volunteer and job opportunities to IUPUI students and alumni. The IUPUI Nonprofit Expo, an IUPUI Career Services Council event, is coordinated by IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs, IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI, IU School of Social Work and IUPUI Center for Service and Learning.
The IUPUI Nonprofit Expo takes place 1-4 p.m., Wednesday, March 22 at the IUPUI Campus Center, Room 450.
