Curriculum Vitae

Marshawn Wolley is a faculty member with the School of Public and Environmental Affairs where he teaches courses on criminal justice, public affairs and diversity issues. Before joining the academy, he was previously responsible for cultivating public private partnerships with midsize corporations and enhancing relationships with hospitality industry leaders as Director of Partner Relations with Visit Indy.

He previously worked with the NFL and the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee to implement and manage the NFL’s Emerging Business program which provided opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses to participate in the Super Bowl procurement process. He also managed outreach efforts for education, community and youth initiatives. He’s had the privilege of serving as an appointed city official responsible for crime prevention under the Peterson administration and leading advocacy efforts for minority and women business procurement for the $275 million Indiana Convention Center Phase V expansion.
